·        Use sunscreen on your face daily. A minimum of SPF 15+ if you can.

·        Keep your skin clean for the first day. Use alcohol wipes once a day to clean the area and apply the cream that you will get as a sample. If your cream is finished you can get more at a chemist or use aqueous cream or a lite scar cream. It must not contain any fragrance.

·        It is recommended that you use a proper Micellar Water for sensitive skin to clean the area 1-2x/day.

·        As a natural healing response, it is usual for the treated area to become very swollen and red. Especially around the more delicate areas such as the eyes. This can last up to 3-6 days. It does not happen to everyone. Not everybody is the same. There will be a crusting/scabs where the plasma enters the skin.

·        You can use your regular skin creams and cleansers if you want. Keep your skin moisturised. Regular moisturizing will prevent the skin from becoming too dry and feeling tight.

·        After the treatment, your skin can feel like a sunburn. You can use cool packs or a hydrating mask. If eyes are starting to swell drink antihistamine. Initially, after treatment and for a day or so afterward there may be occasional weeping. This is the plasma and is a natural healing response. Plasma burns the dead cells so that there can grow new healthy cells. This is a new treatment so it can be stressful. We do not know how you would react while the treatment is in progress. Please drink a calming pill before your appointment at the salon. This is not a painful treatment but it is also not comfortable.

·        Please, NO facial scrub/exfoliating for the next 8 days. The small granules can get stuck in die scabs.

·        Use an anti-inflammatory if you feel uncomfortable. Please use as recommended on a package insert or by a Doctor. (PAIN MEDS)

·        DO NOT PICK YOUR SCABS! They will fall off or lose by themselves when they are healed. If you pick at them, it can lead to infection and SCARRING!

·        Please send photos as you heal. One every second day.

·        Treatment review from 1 week onwards, please. Phone to confirm for a follow-up appointment.

·        AFTER DAY ONE YOU CAN USE YOUR MAKE UP. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT IT ALSO CONTAINS A SPF 15+ FOR DAILY PROTECTION.
